- I was born & raised in Vancouver, BC but now live in suburban Kirkland, WA. I love adventure although I seem to be more cautious since having kids. Scuba diving, sky diving, two safaris in Africa, backpacking Europe, soul-searching in Israel, and the list goes on, have all been in my distant past. Now, my life is about family and raising my kids to love God, love people and serve the world. I have got one talented husband, one angel child, one spirited child, and a large, supportive extended family. Life is good.

That's It!
Since last fall, sometime in November, our electrical outlets on one side of our wall have not worked which included the refrigerator. So for the last 4 months or so, we have been using our spare fridge in the garage. At first, it wasn't that bad. But slowly, it started to drive me crazy walking in and out of the garage to get whatever out of the fridge. So I finally got around to calling an electrician. He came on Monday and checked the outlets. He pushed a reset button (called a GFI?) on one of the outlets, and then voila, the fridge came on. I said, "That's it?" And he said, "That's it!". And that was a $75 visit!
